You don't have to be perfect. This simple yet profound statement forms the cornerstone of today's Faith Bit, where we explore the liberating truth about approaching God with our imperfections intact.

Many believers create unnecessary distance from God after falling short, believing they must clean themselves up before returning to His presence. But this episode challenges that misconception head-on. Christ tore the veil separating us from God precisely so we could approach Him boldly, even in our imperfection. The transformation we seek doesn't come from our efforts to perfect ourselves—it happens through encounter and surrender.

We must develop a spiritual posture where running back to God becomes second nature. When we continually ask Him to search our hearts and minds, removing anything unlike Him, we position ourselves for authentic growth. This practice isn't about achieving perfection through willpower but yielding to His transformative work within us. The paradox of faith emerges: acknowledging our imperfection while surrendering completely becomes our pathway to becoming more like Christ.

The episode concludes with a powerful prayer for divine guidance, asking for sensitivity to God's nudgings and the fear of the Lord to permeate our lives. Whether you're struggling with shame, perfectionism, or simply feeling unworthy of approaching God, this Faith Bit offers the reminder you need—God isn't waiting for your perfection; He's waiting for your presence. Listen now and rediscover the freedom to approach God's throne with confidence, regardless of your failures or flaws.

Speaker 1:

Hey everyone, welcome back to Faith Bits with Allie. I'm your host, allie, with your daily Faith Bit. Okay, so I just wanted to say you don't have to be perfect. I know, hear that again, you don't have to be perfect, and I feel like a lot of people when they get saved and then they fall short, they hinder their relationship with God when they choose not to run boldly back to the throne of grace, to run boldly back to the throne of grace, and it's because of the sin. Sin separates us from God, but if you grow in relationship and knowing him, you realize he's telling you to run boldly back to him, right, and so, no matter what it is, run back to him and share your heart with him. That is something that has helped me grow in my walk with him daily, because, no matter what it looks like whether it's a thought, a posture, a way that I saw, a situation, something that I did I go back to the Lord and I continuously ask him to search my heart and search my mind, and if there's anything there that's not like you, get rid of it, and so we have to develop that posture where it's like I don't have to be perfect, I can go back to God regarding anything. We no longer have a veil there. Jesus tore that veil and so we could go.

Speaker 1:

A lot of us are trying to do the work by cleaning ourselves up before we go back to God. We come to him and when we encounter him, he does the transformation. So allow yourself to yield to his will, and that brings the transformation. Let me pray for you, lord. We come to you wholeheartedly, surrendering our lives. Whatever it looks like, god, not our will, but yours. Whatever it looks like, lord, nevertheless not our will. Let your will be done in our lives. So we pray that we would become so in tune, so sensitive to your nudgings and your knowings and your guidance, god, that if it's not pleasing to you, that we would turn away from it.

Speaker 1:

And so, god, begin to deal with us in our hearts Anything that's there wrong motives or wrong ambitions or wrong postures or the way that we see situations. God, deal with our mindsets, god. I pray for the fear of the Lord. Oh, shut it up, god. I thank you for the fear of the Lord. I thank you for the fear of the Lord for your people. May we come into the fear of the Lord. In Jesus' name I pray Amen, peace, love and blessings.
