Allow Yourself Time To Grow with God
Do you ever feel like you're falling behind in your faith journey? Like everyone else seems to have it all figured out while you're still struggling with the basics? You're not alone.
In this heartfelt episode of Faith Bits with Allie, we dive into the freedom that comes with embracing your unique spiritual timeline. The pressure to reach certain spiritual milestones or match others' faith experiences can rob us of the joy found in our personal relationship with God. Allie reminds us that everyone walks a different path with the Lord, and comparing your chapter 3 to someone else's chapter 20 only leads to unnecessary discouragement.
What makes this message particularly powerful is the eternal perspective it offers. When our destination is eternity with God, the perceived urgency to "catch up" spiritually loses its grip. God isn't rushing you—He's intentionally working in your life at exactly the right pace. For those who feel they've wasted years in empty religion rather than relationship, Allie shares the comforting promise from Joel about God's ability to restore what was lost. Your past detours and delays aren't wasted; they're being redeemed.
The episode concludes with a touching prayer for release from the anxiety of feeling spiritually behind schedule. It's an invitation to breathe, to be present with God today, and to trust His perfect timing in your life. Whether you're just beginning your faith journey or have walked with God for decades, this episode offers the grace and perspective we all need to grow with God at the pace He's designed specifically for us. Listen now, and find the freedom to embrace exactly where you are in your journey with God.

Speaker 1:So I know that a lot of times when we realize that we've been living in religion and that we've been out of relationship, it makes us feel like, oh my gosh, I'm go through that. But we have to look at how. God is a restorative God and he's able to restore the years and locusts, the canker worm, the caterpillar and the palmer worm have eaten, and you will have plenty to eat and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord, your God, who has dealt wondrously with you and my people shall never be put to shame. Let me pray for you, lord. I thank you that you are restoring the years, that we are not too far behind and for everything that took place in our lives. You will work it out for good. And so we relinquish all fears, all anxiety, all overwhelm to you. Now we cast our cares to you and we focus on being in the moment with you now, in Jesus' name. I pray. Amen, peace, love and blessings.
